Say ‘no’ to people, obligations, requests, opportunities, you’re not interested in.
At times, it can be hard to turn things down. But if you say no to one thing, you make space to say yes to another.
Genuinely apologize to people you’ve mistreated.
We often blame mistakes on external factors. To not openly or regularly apologize may keep higher levels of stress and anxiety. Make amends, let go, take ownership of that pent-up energy: it’s not your choice if people forgive you.
